Movies I’ve Watched from beginning to end

Movies I’ve Watched from beginning to end

  1. Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
  2. Spider-Man
  3. Rush Hour 2
  4. I, Robot
  5. Catwoman
  6. Jesus the Movie
  7. Big
  8. Catch Me if You Can
  9. The Wizard of Oz
  • Maybe this list says something about my taste. I saw most of them when they were released so that might say something about my age. Nevertheless, I could go on and on with other lists like Movies I only watched on DVD, movies I saw online, and the very short list of movies I would recommend. There’s also movies I like that I haven’t seen from beginning to end.
  • Speaking of short list out of the movies listed above I would only recommend two. I think people should give “Jesus the Movie” and “The Wizard of Oz” a try. Watch “Jesus” because it’s the finest movie on the life of Christ I’ve ever seen although I’ve only seen the Dubbed Tigrinya version from start to finish. I watched the original English version on TV and I changed the channel a few times. Watch “The Wizard of Oz” because it’s one of the only movie with the hero’s journey in which the good guy doesn’t use violence to get her way. I have one word of warning: in one scene a character sees a psychic and if you’re raising your children Christian or Seventh-day Adventist you should be prepared to tell them that that’s not a good thing to do. I have another word of warning: there are some scary images in the movie. I first saw the movie in the third grade and I’m surprised I wasn’t forever scarred by the witch. I have one last word of warning: the movie has the idea of a “good” witch which is not Biblical at all.
  • Peace.
  • Update on 9-30-18: I removed Rush Hour because when I saw it in theaters I snuck in the middle of it and when I saw it on TV I changed the channel a few times. Therefore I didn’t watch it from beginning to end.

I write so my words and story can last longer than me. My name is Debrezion; I’m also known as Derezion, Dee or Azen. I always know where I am by what people call me. I enjoy church, using computers, and of course writing. I’ve been to Ethiopia twice. I was reared in California, USA but my parents are from Ethiopia. I’m lucky to be alive and I should thank God for that.
